D\u00e9sormais, cet arrondissement est, avant tout, un quartier universitaire et intellectuel. Il abrite de nombreux mus\u00e9es\u00a0: Cluny, Histoire naturelle, Institut du monde arabe. Les biblioth\u00e8ques ne manquent pas\u00a0: Sainte Genevi\u00e8ve, Coll\u00e8ge des Bernardins, Coll\u00e8ge de France. Des lieux d\u2019enseignement d\u2019excellent niveau\u00a0: Lyc\u00e9e Louis Le Grand, Ecole Normale sup\u00e9rieure, Universit\u00e9 Paris 1 Panth\u00e9on Sorbonne s\u2019y trouvent.
